Happy birthday to meeee

What makes this birthday better than last year’s?

Last year on my birthday the Lakers were terribly defeated in the finals. But this year, they had the championship celebration parade.

Word up.

Nothing more romantic than One Winged Angel

We went to the video Games Live concert Thursday night at the Greek Theatre and it was just as good as the first time I went.

They should have re-named it the Geek Theatre (ba-dum-dum-CHA!).

We were able to score some free tickets through my brother’s girlfriend’s friend’s friend who organizes the event. After cursing much at the horrid L.A traffic and dealing with the parking at the theatre (it felt like we were off-roading, felt bad for Richie’s clutch) we managed to arrive there fifteen minutes late.

We only missed the intro but everything from there on was all gravy. And only at Video Games Live were there no lines at the women’s restroom.

The night ended with sinful gluttony at Pinks Hotdogs.

Teh End.

May Recap

Escaping to the Midwest

A lot went on during the month of May and surprisingly enough, I haven’t fainted in exhaustion. Yet.

Tweet tweet

So I’ve been twittering as of late. Just random thoughts that come to mind, nothing important or personal (just like this blog).

Two weeks ago, I was in Yorba Linda watching a friend perform at a local coffee shop when suddenly an earthquake hit. After it stopped, the first thing I did was twittered, “Earthquake!” I thought to myself that that was pretty pointless and had no idea what I would accomplish from doing so. Well, half an hour later my brother called and asked if I was ok because he just read my twitter update.

On Friday, I saw that my brother and his girlfriend had written “Earthquake!” on their sites (they were both at difference places). Then I called him to see if he was alright.

So I guess if Twitter is good for anything, it’s good for earthquake notices.

We’re all dying in the end

Eh, I’ve been in this shitty/emo/I-fucking-hate-everything mood as of late. I suppose I could dig deep down into mind and figure out the reason for feeling so, but I think I’m going to ride on this wave for a bit longer. It’s been a while since I felt like this and I almost miss it.

Work has been steady, thank God. I just turned in another self-eval paper (get to write one every year) and I have a feeling I’m going to be writing the same thing every time.

“I pretty much own it all.”

Well, kinda.
