I don’t think I was meant to be a pastry chef.

This is supposed to radiate warmth?

I don’t know what compelled me to do this. On canvas nonetheless. Well Van Gogh had his sunflowers, and I have mine.

My dad was in town for a conference and he came over to visit. I showed him this painting to which he said, “Oh…why make that face?” Hmm…why indeed.

We Love Munny

Some of Richie’s friends had planned a munny painting night, and we dropped by to watch and maybe laugh at their poor paint mixing skills. We weren’t expecting to be doing anything else but ended up painting the unused munny accessories.

I was trying to channel my inner Takashi Murakami but failed miserably.

So what’s new?

People often ask what I’ve been up to lately, and I always lamely reply with a shrug and say “just work.” I really struggle with an answer to that question mainly because I honestly can’t remember what I’ve been doing, and I hate to just answer with “just work.” But sadly, that may be true sometimes.

Speaking of work, we’ve got mandatory overtime this weekend. But hey, at least the dress code isn’t enforced. I’m wondering if I should take advantage of this and wear the most ridiculous outfit I could conjure up. Or maybe even wear the March costume from AX 2009 (sans the shoes).

Well one thing to sort of look forward to is Comic Con. Despite the horrendous crowd and b.o., I’d like to visit the NC Soft booth and ask if this is true about Guild Wars 2.

Leaving my heart and my allergies in San Francisco

We took a mini vacation to SF this Memorial Day weekend and it was a refreshing change in scenery. It was a nice escape from the Orange County bubble, to interact with the crazies up there instead of the crazies down here.

We did a lot of walking, a lot of gluttonous eating and some awkward bike riding too. Oh and for some reason my allergies were in full gear the entire weekend.
