The above image was taken on Mother’s Day last week, and my mother insisted on taking a family picture in front of Phuc Loc Tho. I suppose we were overdue for a fobby family picture.

My mind wandered off a little as I was jotting down random ideas and scribbles for work. I tried drawing a high-collared lace undershirt on the girl, but it ended up looking like somebody slit her throat. Good to know that my subconscious hasn’t changed.

In other delightful news, I bought tickets to see my sixth (?) Linkin Park concert happening in September. Can’t wait to scream and yell along with my maid-of-awesomeness. BREAAAAK!

For example I randomly picked an old post to read and found out I bought a UCI umbrella that was covered in anteaters. This may not be of importance to some people but it is to me….mainly because I don’t have any recollection of this AT ALL.

See? Fascinating! Strange memories that I really can’t remember.

And for the record… I now use my New University umbrella that I designed five years ago when I worked there. It may not be covered in anteaters but it’s close enough. Zot zot mutherf*****!

So good I made sure Richie would cook me some that.

I thought for a fleet second that I should start a cooking blog where I would document every step to making a meal. But I quickly laughed it off and went on with my illustrious life.

No longer are the days filled with shots, clubbing and hangovers. Now they’re filled with baby showers, weddings and kids birthdays. And I’m starting to prefer wine over beer. WHAT’S HAPPENING TO ME?!

But speaking of kids birthdays, we celebrate a first birthday last weekend. It seems to be a new tradition of having the kid go at it with the birthday cake. I want to do the same when I turn 30 and hopefully my cake will be filled with Zoloft.

Four years ago I would never have thought of purchasing a DSLR camera. But thanks to an impulsive buy, the d60 was probably one of the better investments I’ve made. It helped me perceive reality in a different way and helped me explore new ways of inspiration in the people and world around me.

It’s just too bad I didn’t have a stronger interest back when Tin was running workshops and a photography sharing blog. All the advice and tips would have come in handy :p

Rich and I played with the idea of moving to the polluted LA area if we couldn’t find anything down here. Boy wouldn’t that be something.

This was my first time trying this. I didn’t care what it was I just liked the cute tanuki mascot. Oh how I’m easily persuaded! And fyi, using binder clips are great for sealing chip bags. Hope the company gives me credit for my creative uses of their office supplies (ha!).
